My advice would be: Tell a story, orally. You probably already know how to do that. Then write it.

Thanks! Good advice. One of the best things you can do in short story writing, is jump straight into the action. Short stories often have a moral or lesson, as in Gift Of The Magi. I think writing short stories is great fun, although challenging. Blessings
