Has the internet ever 'ruined' a thing for you?

Not like 'oh my god you spoiled the twist on launch day' ruined.
I mean like 'this is why we can't have nice things' ruined.

And do NOT get me started on Fan 'art' lol (of literally anything) we'll be here all week.

The way I see it, the internet, either collectively or individually, doesn't own my enjoyment of something.
I have chosen to accept this as my belief.
I may not be able to unsee Female Jar Jar binks in a bikini but I can still laugh at it.
And yes, my friend cursed me with that, and now you're cursed too, have a good day [scoots off with cartoon animation sounds]
Although regarding fanart, I don't mind it for the most part. But some cases do make me wonder why artists choose particular characters.

Nah. People were weird before the internet, and I like to think I'd have always lived a life that exposed me to the weird parts of humanity even if I had to go to art galleries and indie theatres to see it instead of stumbling upon it with an ill-worded Google search.
