Hello from Florida

Greetings from the 2nd craziest (per capita) state in the US. I'm working on a fantasy novel in my spare time and I'd love to read and review some writing tips here, sharing my two cents when possible.

What's crazy about Florida besides the weather? I was just in Orlando a couple weeks ago. You could count on having a sunny morning and lightning in the evening. Rain was a definite, but you were just as likely to see rain in the distance and not get rained on at all. And the thing is… I loved that crazy weather!

I was mostly talking about some of our residents, politicians, and news events.

Orlando's nice if you stick towards downtown so you don't get swamped by everything Disney and Universal. It's a cool place as well; I have beaches 1.5 hours east and west, Orlando is the same distance south, and my hometown Florida Gators are a tad north.

There's no excuse on a lazy Saturday to not run out somewhere to see a show, zoo, trails, park, etc. You feel like you have to always be doing something, lol. Thanks for the welcome!
