Good morning and Happy New Year to you all.
I'm Martin - I've spent a while writing but have never really been public about it; I'm here primarily to share my work and to be a part of the community.
I used to write for tabletop RPGs and was part of the story team for the 7th Sea Collectible Card Game; I've always been interested in fantasy stories, and I'd like to share some of the ones I'm working on with you.
I kind of suck at introductions, though.
Oh, yes - interests and the like. My favourite authors are Tolstoy and Herman Melville, and in terms of fantasy authors I am currently enjoying Scott Lynch and China Mieville.
I'm currently working on a few short stories, flash fiction, and a longer-form piece conducted in the form of stream-of-consciousness interviews with six characters that tells a fantasy epic from the perspective of the sort of people who don't usually have anything to do with fantasy epics.
It's called "Barrowfoot".
