Just thought I'd pop in and introduce myself before I get to my writing goal for the day.

I'm Dani. I write mainly speculative fictions. I tend to try some pretty wacky stuff, like writing a travelogue on a place that doesn't exist (i.e. somewhat like writing a travel article on Tatooine). Most of it comes out pretty bad, but it doesn't hurt as practice.

Anywho, this seems like a great place to chat about writing and I can't wait to get started. Well, after I finish my word count, that is.

Welcome to the land of the scribes, where the fire in the hearth is always welcoming, the innkeeper is a kindly black dragon and there are plenty of activities for the young and old alike. For a starter, it is highly recommended to browse the interesting and often helpful articles in the forums. Another fun activity is to start a new thread on a problem you are having and see which of the members has helpful advice for you to consider. All this is wrapped up in an atmosphere of friendly denizens, whether they are people or animals and none should cause you any distress.
