I've been writing short stories for years, although I've never had any published. Sometimes I think about trying to self-publish a novel but I'm not sure if what I write is good enough. I'm here to learn how to write better.
I'm a costume designer/seamstress. My love of fantasy fiction led to my love of the clothes people wore in the Middle Ages, which led to making clothes like that. When I'm not writing I spend way too much time doing stuff like embroidery and quilting and making cloth dolls dressed like characters from stories I (or my friends) have written - I can't draw or paint but having something visual to represent my story ideas helps me stay interested. I have creative ADHD.
