Is it strange to have a dragon species (humanoid) be romantic?

Just about every time I see human-like dragons depicted.
They're always strong and/or Wise/Powerful, like that's the only thing they can be.
Outside of like a handful of exceptions (Like Mushu in Mulan) dragons in general are kind of given the same 'personality' types.

Uh… little dragon babies start with something.
I mean all babies do lol it's just rare for humanoid dragons to really show that side of themselves. (Either in a goofy way or actually in the baby making way)
Not at all strange. It may be uncommon or rare but that's different than strange.
To be fair a large part of the story is about 'humanizing' characters who are typically mystified in fiction. Dragons aren't the only ones either.

I am unaware of any story where this has happened, a story focusing on a dragon's romance, but there may be some out there. I dont see why anything would be strange, just another take on a fantasy romance mix. The idea of Dragons taking human form has been around for a long while. The idea of using that human form with the princesses they abscond with is not new.

Its not something I would write, I would prefer to keep my dragon scary, but...I don't write light hearted stuff.

Wait, do you mean humanoid mentally, humanoid as in walking on two feet or humanoid as in anime style dragon girls?
I mean this species does have leathery-ish skin (of various colors, commonly green, sometimes blue and other colors though) with scales, so while I can say yes (kind of) to the last one they are a bit more dragon-like than what you're probably imagining. They have Dragon wings big enough to properly make a human fly and tails of varying size and length. And a lot of them are insanely strong regardless of personality.

Most of the women are the 'hunters' of the clan and are typically the dominant one of the relationship. (Things get real 'funky' when they are in the mood) However there are a few of them who prefer the opposite lifestyle, stay at home wife type, and further some of those are 'hopeless romantics' even still.

Oh I assure you, there are plenty of the classic dragons in the story, and aside from the antagonist I mentioned in another thread, they all stay pretty scary.
This story is a comedy at heart, though it does take itself seriously when the plot requires it.
