My name is Michael, just happened to come across these forums on a random search for writing groups. I'm been dabbling at story writing - would like to make it more than dabbling - for almost as long as I've aware. I write historical fiction, fantasy, and historical fantasy as both short stories and novels. Currently, I'm working on a alternate-historical low heroic fantasy focusing on Tomoe Michiari, a neurodivergent samurai living in the leadup to the second Mongol invasion, his relationship with Ishikawa Yuriko, the daughter of a late merchant who encountered some stragglers from the Marco Polo expeditions to China, and his training and expectations of fighting in the upcoming war.
