Well, as the title says I'm looking to speak to someone who remembers Vietnam.
More specifically, I don't want to talk about the war and drag up old memories that are best left alone.
What I need is someone who remembers how the MIA/POW/KIA notifications were done as well as the day to day lives of normal people "back home." There are a few older gents in the area I could ask, but I'm worried that talking to them would bring back some painful memories so I'd rather not go there.
I hope that makes sense, I'm trying to be historically accurate, but remain respectful as well.
If you know someone who'd not mind talking about these aspects or you are someone who'd be ok answering a few questions I'd love to talk to you/them.
