There are little changes here and there so far that I don't mind. A couple of them might 'bug' purists. (I'm kind of one but not to the extent of someone you'd normally use that word) But for the most part they're all positive. Dedicated jump button is a god send, though I would have liked the option to go to the 'old' auto jump.
Some of the 'tricks' don't work anymore. (Like the sling shot puzzle skip and farming rupies in the pot room in castle town) I imagine a lot of the unintended ones don't work.
Graphics are CLEAN, and look far better than the 'lol I dumped the game into unreal engine' style remakes from fans. I would've gone with a more cell shaded look but this is VERY pretty too.
I am intrigued to know if they changed the fire temple music any. Given that times have changed.
You can't name link anymore but TBH I usually don't name him anyway. I've tried my real name a couple of times and it instantly got awkward.
Voice acting is very good but also somewhat 'cheesy' but in the best way. Feels like watching a very old disney movie.
Haven't messed with the Zelda notes stuff yet but I am intrigued.
