I'm writing a web of interconnected stories set in multiple universes. (Well, a lot of what I write will be interconnected -- I'm not going to force things). The links may not huge things. One book has crystal balls that are used as navigation computers. And another story is set on the world where those computers were originally made. (And this link is not mentioned overtly at this stage). Another story features a race of people that was in the first story for one scene.
Each story is a stand alone (or a short series) but hopefully one day you'll be able to follow the links a long way through fantasy science fiction, retro sci-fi (that's what Rowena Cory Daniells calls it-- I like techno fantasy or crystal punk), streampunk and whatever else.
