Actually, for anyone interested, there is a great program at the University of British Columbia that offers on-line creative and personal writing courses for those like me. It is not a full time study degree program. You apcan pick and choose courses as you like and all the work is online. I get professional development funds through my school district, so they pay for me to take them so I can then teach other teachers (and students) what I have learned.

For those looking to take things to the next level they offer a creative writing certificate of achievement program, which is a more structured program, though still online and still part time, or however you want to frame it. I'm going to be doing this program starting in the fall.

I want to do it... didn't say I was going to just yet, LOL. Now, if some pub showed me a little money and proved I had a chance? I'd be sorely tempted to go for it. I'm sick of business as is and moving someplace warmer in winter appeals to me, heh heh.
