As a reader, I find it annoying sometimes (especially for a longer novel) when an author doesn't include a map. If you find you cannot simplify your environs and where your characters travel in just the prose, I highly suggest including a map, even if it's just a simple line map, in your story. I think it makes it more interesting for the reader anyway
