Writing about dragons

I found out about Brandon Sanderson 2012 Lectures through a podcast I listen to. These lectures have helped me to get started writing. I have learned so much watching and listening to all of these. This is a class at BYU about creative writing, specifically for SciFi and fantasy.
I would love to here about your thoughts if you have used any of this material. I hope this helps people, it sure helped me.

Yes. I've watched all of them & they're pretty good.

I must wished he would've followed some of his own advice during the writing of Mistborn. Great story, but at times it's hard not to notice the writing.

To be fair, Brandon was still figuring this stuff out with Mistborn. I believe Elantris and a few Alcatraz titles were his only published works at that point.

I got a lot out of watching those videos. Definitely worth watching. Brandon is not only a good writer, but a good speaker to boot.
