Desmodium; a villain's best friend

Baron Moneybags has recently learned of a mineral named desmodium, which emits radiation that weakens supers. It is thought that the element came down as part of a meteorite, irradiated by a star similar to Theta Proxima. The Baron is seeking this nefarious substance avidly and hopes to use it to bring all supers under his thumb. However, desmodium also adversely affects the super-villains he employs and Kay, like normal anthros, is unaffected by it!
