Hi,
I am from Australia, I like Fantasy (which is a moot statement I guess), writing (yet another), Science Fiction, Extremely forms of music (ranging from classical to death metal and back), computers and technology, and I am currently doing two degrees, both under the faculty of science; yes, I am a science nerd.

A short list of authors/books I like:
Ursula le Guin
Patrick Rothfuss
Brandon Sanderson
M. John Harrison
Joe Abercrombie
Richard Morgan
The Old Kingdom Chronicles
The Painted man
Hyperion Cantos

Some authors and books I DONT like:
Eragon
Twilight series.
Terry Goodkind
Tokein (I will openly admit he is an amazing writer, and his books are amazing, I just didn't enjoy reading them one bit. Probably because so many people have copied him I came to them already jaded).
The Wheel of time.
George R. R. Martin.

I hate the twilight books. Then again I am a huge Anne Rice fan... I see no reason to chill with the teenyboppers when I can lounge with the big kids.

Well, thanks. Now I know what I'm going to be doing on the way home from the plant. Maybe I'll wait until after I've turned in my badge...
