Dream about the super gigantic all in one department store!

In the dream I was with family and we made a big get together and trip to this enormous store. It was like a hundred stories tall and shaped like two hexagons attached together along a side.
The place literally had everything you can imagine, groceries, furniture, appliances, clothing, tools and equipment, toys, pets and pet supplies, electronics, clothing, outdoors supplies, specialty items.
It even had restaurants and entertainment venues! The entrance was really cool, it opened up into a multistory lobby with palm trees and water fountains.
I can't imagine this ever being built though.

So basically a mall? They exist, except that they tend to be different shops all situated in a single building. For one example, check https://www.westfield.com/en/netherlands/mallofthenetherlands which contains something like 200 different shops of all kinds, a movie theater, restaurants, a children's daycare etc.

It could be considered a shopping mall. It was just way bigger then any I've ever heard of. Like the building was almost as tall as the world trade center in NYC, and just as wide as it was tall!

I was gonna say, I think buildings like this exist. In NY, its not unusual for some of those skyscrapers to have shopping malls on their lower levels, maybe not the whole building.

One that got me, was public storage buildings in LA. I had only ever seen them as 3 story box store-like constructions, but in LA they were tall buildings all painted orange and dedicated to storage. And they were all over. They looked like giant batteries sporadically spread throughout the city.

I have dreams about sprawling shopping malls. They have car parks, with high tech cars, and open gardens. Last night I dreamed I was setting up a new situation for myself, with a multicultural family, and it involved time travel. There was a house, a park, and a sitting area - and yes, we went shopping.

Sounds irksomely nifty. This is the kind of dream where ideally you'd need to be unconscious for two days to properly explore everything. Sadly that's not exactly practical, or healthy, or possible.

I know right! I saw how big the place was from the outside, but only got to explore a small part of it.

I thought the last word in the title was going to be 'fanfiction' and if it was I was going to be very concerned.
Having been down that rabbit hole once, it's not one I'm brave enough to travel down again.

Also yes, malls exist, or well, did, they've more or less died out now.
