Number 11 is Anne Bishop. Having not read her, I can't really comment, but it appears her most popular works are in The Black Jewels series. Seems her fiction is best described as dark fantasy. The Black Jewels focuses a lot on witches, with somewhat Celtic influence. If anyone knows more about her work, please share your thoughts.

I read one, some time ago. I don't remember which one it was. My impression was that it was well-written and decent, but not enough to make me buy more of her work.

I read Daughter of the Blood and it's two sequels a long time ago. I really liked her male protagonists, which is what had me reading further, waiting for something to happen. But, as I recall, her FMC was kind of reactive, rather than proactive, and her villains were simply ineffective - all I remember them doing was sitting around scheming, and then they never actually take action. Rather like
Breaking Dawn, where the whole book is winding up to a huge battle... that never happens.
