Aspiring writer

Hi everyone. My name is Jason, and I've recently decided to persue writing. The fantasy and sci-find genres have always been my favorite. My mind has been playing out imaginative ideas since I was a kid, and I figure it's time to put it to good use. I have not started writing yet, but plan to make time for it this weekend. I'm humble, and willing to take any advice, knowledge, and wisdom anyone might have on the subject.
