Hi everyone!

New to Mythic Scribes and keen to connect with other fantasy creators.

I have been working on my fantasy world since I was like 9 and I'm now 29. Haven't given up hope though... one day I will finish that first novel and it will be awesome.

The series is called "Saga of the Five" it used to be called "The Kaberimian Saga" but I decided that that was a bit clunky.

My day job (or what is about to be my day job): I am a Social Anthropologist, about to begin my PhD at the University of British Columbia.

I spent a few years working in publishing as well (mostly school textbooks) as an Intellectual Property specialist - so any IP questions and I'm your guy...

Welcome Byron! I am always interested in hearing about worlds that began being built in the author's childhood. It's a main theme in my work, perhaps THE main theme. Even if a plot doesn't revolve around it, childhood and the magic within it, and the loss of it most suffer as adults, is a place I return time and again for inspiration and to find center.
