Hello, I just wanted to know what you think of my mythology. I am not an English speaker, so all of this is translated from DeepL. Sorry if there are a lot of mistakes xD
The Song of Primordial Flesh
In the beginning, there were no worlds, no laws, no life. Only Thalrûn existed, the Primordial Creature: a compressed, disordered, breathless cosmos, bearer of all that would be.
In an act of anguish and necessity, Thalrûn mutilated a fraction of herself, offering her Primordial Flesh to the void.
From that wound, two Titans were born, and with them, two worlds:
• Thaltyr, full of breath and life;
• Nokthar, deep and inhabited by beings of a different nature.
The Titans fertilized their own insides, and from that act, life sprang forth:
• In Thaltyr, humans, animals, plants, and other life forms emerged.
• In Nokthar, three lineages of beings emerged: Vaelkor, Elythar, and Virethar.
But Thalrûn was weakened. She could not consummate her self-destruction, and the Complete Order was never formed.
Thus, the existing worlds live under an Incomplete Order, imperfect and mutable.
The Primordials chained Thalrûn in Nokthar, trapped in abysses of iron and shadows, to contain her strength and prevent the formation of the Complete Order.
Flesh and its power
There are two types of flesh derived from Thalrûn:
1. Primordial Flesh
o Pure matter from Thalrûn, still malleable and capable of altering the cosmic order.
o Used directly by the beings of Nokthar to transform the world or create life.
2. Fused Flesh
o Flesh of Thalrûn mixed with the flesh of the Titans and the worlds.
o It has lost the ability to alter the order but is stable and forms the basis of all beings and elements of both worlds.
Life after death
When a being dies, its Fused Flesh returns to Thalrûn, transforming back into Primordial Flesh and feeding its own existence. Thanks to this cycle, Thalrûn, though chained, never dies completely.
Functions of the beings of Nokthar
All beings of Nokthar—Vaelkor, Elythar, and Virethar—are, like humans, made up of Fused Flesh. However, inhabiting the same plane as the chained Thalrûn, they have direct access to her Primordial Flesh, pure matter with the power to alter the cosmic order. Each lineage uses it on a different scale:
• Vaelkor
o They tear off large chunks of Primordial Flesh to adjust and maintain the greater order of the cosmos.
o They do not create new worlds or dictate laws, but rather stabilize what already exists.
• Elythar
o They take fragments of Primordial Flesh, large or small, to sculpt new forms of life.
o They sustain reincarnation: nothing dies completely, everything changes form.
• Virethar
o They consume only small crumbs of Primordial Flesh to alter the order on a small scale, affecting bodies, minds, and environments.
o They do not corrupt the world as humans believe, they simply alter the order to their form.
o The more they consume, the deeper their effect.
Incomplete Order and Complete Order
The Incomplete Order currently reigns, allowing life and reincarnation, but always under imperfect conditions.
The Complete Order would only come into being if Thalrûn were freed and completely dismembered:
• New worlds, beings, and laws would be formed.
• No existing being could be reincarnated; it would die permanently.
Some argue that the use of the Primordial Flesh keeps the cosmos and life alive.
Others claim that it only perpetuates an incomplete Order, and that reincarnation is nothing more than a prison; only with the liberation of Thalrûn will true existence be achieved.
