My name is Gael and I have been writing my memoirs..or fragments of my life and found it very draining and depressing at times so I thought I would give a full attempt on a genre that's lighter (not necessarily easier). I want to write a fantasy novel on Fae in Ireland. I know this is overly saturated but I feel I have a unique plot line and good solid characters already. But before I tap out my first line I know a lot of research is in store which I have been doing in between posting and reading on forums. I am itching to read what some of you have written but I wait patiently (fingers tapping) for my promotion!! Happy writing!!!

Sounds great, Iamfenian! My book contains faeries too - my own take on them and in a created world, but faeries nonetheless. Ireth is another member whose stories contain a lot of faeries - you should check her out! I would love to see what you've come up with.
