How to disable email notifications?

I keep getting emails from the forum about notifications and tried to turn them off, but there are so many account settings and I can't find it. In which part of the settings is that option?

It should be on the preferences page.

I turned all my emails off when we first switched to this forum software. But under the old forum software, after turning off emails in the settings, I still had to manually unsubscribe from each thread I was already following. If that's still necessary in the current software, there should be a link in each email to do that for the thread it's from.
