Never explain the joke, in person or in text. It's like explosions. And "think about it" is about as cool as looking back.

I have numerous times sprayed wine or coffee over my keyboard when reading something amusing.

My wife and I do this competitively. One spit take or choke, one point. Simple rules. Utter savagery. The pets have little score cards and our writing partner minds the regulations.
