I just wanted to say hi to everyone already on here. I had never even thought to look for something like this before and am excited to share my work with some impartial readers as well as checking out others work.
I don't know if its paranoia or not, but having friends and family reading my work always feels like they could just be telling me what I want to hear

I'm kidding. I think you will find that most people give you their truthful opinion on your writings here, but I understand the family/friend problem. Just mention in your post that you want honest opinions - and be prepared to get them.

-Read a few pieces of members work and so far I'm really happy I joined. I'm an avid reader and it costs to much to keep buying books, this kinda helps itch the scratch lol
