I’m new to the board and I am happy to be here. I ready to do whatever is required to become a better writer. I'm also here to read, learn, meet new people, and of course build my own fan base. Thank you for having me, I do appreciate it.
I guess that’s about it.

Welcome.
Look over the forum on a topic that interests you and dive in.

We welcome points of view from all people, old, new, young, old, etc.
No two people have the same take on any subject.

[you might contact a moderator and have this thread moved to "introductions".]
This site is large and has a lot of information and ideas.

Stephen,

Welcome!

In my experience, the fastest way to learn is to:

Step 1 - Write something.
Step 2 - Polish that piece to the best of your ability. Make it shine. Make it the best thing anyone has read ever.
Step 3 - Post it for feedback. The Showcase forum is one place for that.
Step 4 - Grow a really, really thick skin. Having anyone think that your first efforts are the best thing ever written is not likely.
Step 5 - Try to learn for the comments and incorporate those lessons into your writing.
Step 6 - Go back to Step 1.

Good luck!

Thank you very much, good thing a moderator was looking out for me and moved it.
