I’ve been thinking about it. A lot of members have been trying to figure out the mad scientist trope. They believe that they are important and secular characters of the fantasy member pantheon. There have been casual remarks. Guybrush Threepwood, C3PO. Though maybe I thought all these characters could be deemed sick, no use to put another label on them, they are all the same.
The truth of it, is they are all good fighters, ready to take on the fantasy world at all odds. They want to hang up the sword, they want to come to grips with their situation. Tropes have come up, where nothing is ideal after all, besides the love interest, and maybe there is where the tale wraps up, when they finally discover that chicks are into the bad guy, and it’s better to skirt around the situation tactfully.
