Fanfiction might be a 'gateway drug' to writing, but depending on your reason for writing the fanfiction. Fanfics can be just as legitimate as normal writing.A fanfic? I think there's entire sites out there just for this one pairing. And "pairing" may be a bit of a tame description. lol
I love fanfic. I don't read much or write any at this point in my development, but I love how it's a gateway drug to writing. Like, "Hey, kid, heard you liked Harry Potter, but something was missing? Let me show you a thing you're gonna love..."
I'm currently chipping away at two fanfictions right now, and neither of them are explicitly being made for 'that' kind of content. I could if I wanted to but like, really, neither of the fandoms I'm writing for would really fit it. (Especially because a lot of the characters are teens-young adults in one and the other one is a Nintendo property)
There are a couple of 'jokes' and gag moments in both stories, but none of the stuff certain circles of any fandom write fanfic for is in there. And if it is, I'm planning on fading to black lol
One of the jokes in the RWBY fic is that one of my characters finds out just how hard it is to plant a kiss on an invisible woman (she's not always invisible) one who also likes to tease...
