Did the Harry Potter books have a real story underneath.

The Material that i write below is approx. 85% my own work, i hope you enjoy it. In J.K. Rowling's books about Harry Potter, there seems to be a real non-fiction characters hidden the the fiction stories, the names are changed slightly, some examples below:-
Could Cassandra Vablatsky be Helena Blavatsky?
harrypotter.wikia.com...
en.wikipedia.org...

Could Elphias Doge be Eliphas Levi?
harrypotter.wikia.com...
en.wikipedia.org...

It would be really fun if Alastor "Mad Eye" Moody was modeled on Aleister Crowley
harrypotter.wikia.com...
I'm just getting started this subject, obviously no one knows for sure, but i think J.K.Rowling's Inspiration came from London in approx. 1888, it is true that writers get their inspiration from many sources, i used know, slightly, Micheal Ward, who found a code in the Narnia Books regarding symbolism with astrological signs that is fascinating, link below:-

My non-fiction story involves many politicians of the era plus the genesis of the UK Labour Party, and truth is stranger than fiction!
My fascination with Harry Potter came after a giggle of how Lord Mandelson chose to promote his memoir, at the time the U.K. had just finished a long period of the Labour Government.
Behind the scenes he used to spin webs in the media, thus behind his back he was called "The Dark Lord", or "The Prince of Darkness", obviously i knew that The Fabian Society in 1888 had mystical people involved, so the video is below that i thought so funny:-
www.youtube.com...
As Lord Mandelson looks to be reading a fairy story i will begin the same way, it isn't a dark story and leads to the independence of India, i will start on the next thread section.[/URL]

Myth Weaver
Not that I ever read more than a couple mind numbing chapters, but that ending would’ve (maybe) made the movies worth watching.

I know someone that swears that Nevil Longbottom should have been revealed as the true "chosen one" in the last book and that Harry Potter was just Dumbledore's sacrificial goat.

Of course, they could be! Lots of little easter eggs like this are tucked away in her writing. Some are obvious, like Nicolas Flamal, who was an actual person and was credited with creation of the philosopher's stone back in the day.

A name like "Vablatsky" hints strongly at an homage to the real Blavatsky, as it's just a matter of syllable transposition.

Thank you for all comments from CupofJoe, Demesnedenoir and elemtilas, i'm aware that we can't be sure about J.K. Rowling's inspiration, but would like to continue my thesis, i feel that the inspiration was 1888.
I'm very neutral without saying the Occult is bad, the story i feel inspired Rowling is a true story but not bad, as i said i will start this first part as a fairy story, before explaining what characters who i feel are hidden in the fictional Harry Potter books.
As the leaves fell during the Autumn of Terror 1888, when Jack the Ripper lurked in the shadows, an 18 year old diminutive male arrived from India in London, he was very lonely and had come to study law....his mother told him not to eat meat as he was vegetarian. He was directed to one of few vegetarian restaurants in London, the people that he would meet there would change his whole life philosophy....his name was Gandhi.
If i said that the Vegetarian Society was esoteric now, you would laugh, but when you go back to the 19th Century, the society did attract mystics following Pythagoras, who was vegetarian.
Obviously linking Alastor "mad eye" Moody to Aleistor Crowley could be a step too far, but i have just started this thread, and have a lot more to write:-

I'm very mystical!
If you believe me, then you can transport to a magical world, and "World Building", you will have trouble knowing what i say is true, but you need to sell books!
l give "World Buildind" that you never know if i'm an adept of magic or just fooling you, that is the best world building!!!
I did go to "The College of Psychic Studies", as i live in London, which is a bit like "Hogwarts", thats true!

I thought link below, would leave "World Building" Regarding the "Inklings", that wrote a lot of fantasy.....perhap's i do or don't, it is up to you to fathom, Ha Ha!
The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien was fantastic, but he was a member of the "Inklings", so was C.S.Lewis, but there were other members that these two gained inspiration from, please click on Owen Barfield on link below, who was very interested in mystical matters including Anthruposophy.
Please click on Charles Williams on link below that had been a member of "The Fellowship of the Rosy Cross, which is more than enough inspiration for "The Fellowship of the Ring".

Further more the secret doorway to Moria looks very masonic:-

Obviously link below comes from a ritual in the Hollywood Film "Eye's Wide Shut" but needs Moderator, i don't want children fantasy writers looking at this, i have no idea who views my thread sections:-
However, i would think it would be the same as "The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn", i don't make bad judgements, so if others feel i'm wrong, i will make further thread statements to verify, even if video is stopped by "Mods", which i understand!

I know i'm being a bit long in explaining but i have to set the scene before i mention any other characters in the Harry Potter Books that may have been inspired by real people, please scroll down link below to "The Story of the Treasure Seekers", Rowling's mentions E.Nesbit and says "I think i identify with E. Nesbit more than any other writer"
en.wikipedia.org...
E.Nesbit was a co-founder of the Fabian Society, a forerunner of the UK Labour Party, but surely the writer of "The Railway Children" wasn't a mystic?
en.wikipedia.org...
I will leave you thinking about if E.Nesbit was a mystic for a while LOL.

You can read about Gandhi's visit to the vegetarian restaurant in Farringdon Street, London on link below:-
ivu.org...
You will see that he met Helena Blavatsky but a lot of early socialist politicians used to visit the restaurant also, so it was a curious selection of diners, a lot of the Fabian Society ate there as well as many mystics, so many topics were discussed across the table!
Esoteric organizations usually mark the day of forming with one of two stars, Sirius, the Isis star or the center star of the Belt of Orion which is associated the Osiris, this is done by start of day, by Sunset previous to date being ancient Greek day marker, by modern midnight, or Sunrise being ancient Egyptian or Roman day start.
Then the four directions are used, being Due East or West being the horizon at location, and Due South being the culminating angle, or the opposite being Due North being the Nadir in the Northern Hemisphere.
The Vegetarian Society were formed on the 30th September 1847 in Ramsgate UK, so i have to show astronomy graph in two parts as the society chose sunrise at location while Sirius was culminating at Due South.
The astronomy graphs coming on next thread section, SIRIUS BLACK COMES TO MIND!!!!

Link to date Vegetarian Society was formed in Ramsgate UK on 30th September 1847 below:-

The astronomy graph will be in two parts, below you will see the Sun rising on graph at location:-
You can see the astronomy in two parts, "Right Click" on IMG, you may have to also right click on "View Image".
There are two images, No 1 shows the Sun rising at location, the other shows Sirius culminating at True South which is a "Sensitive" spot for magical astrologers:-

The plot thickens, So the most influential writer regarding J.K. Rowling was E. Nesbit, but if you scroll down link below to "Known or Alleged Members" you will find E. Nesbit Mentioned!
en.wikipedia.org...
Perhaps the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn inspired J.K. Rowling with the "Order of the Phoenix".
Y.B. Yeats was a member, but he was also a member of the Ghost Club that i belonged to when i was a junior investigator regarding The Enfield Poltergeist LOL.
en.wikipedia.org...

J.K. Rowling before becoming an author was a researcher for Amnesty International, many of the characters in real life fought for human rights in very difficult times in 1888 that it is highly likely Rowling knew about, then being a communist wasn't such a dirty word as it hadn't been tested as in USSR, but these people during this period helped human rights.

With all this in mind, perhaps Emmeline Vance was modeled on Emmeline Pankhurst

Please remember the vegetarian element in the Fabian Society that diners mixed together, so could Sturgis Podmore be Frank Podmore, who was a founding member of the Fabian Society, like E. Nesbit, he was also a member of the Society of Psychical Research, who with the Ghost Club researched the Enfield Poltergeist in 1977, i know as i was there!
harrypotter.wikia.com...

I don't think that Rowling will ever admit to real life influences for fear of hurting the Labour Party and Fabian Society, in 2008 she donated £1,000,000 to them.

Could Fabian Prewett be a code for the Fabian Society?

Obviously i agree with most posters that there were other influences regarding Rowling's inspiration, i'm just commenting that the area of history that i'm examining could have been one of them and is an interesting period of history in it's own right!

Beatrice Webb was one of the leading lights of the Fabian Society, however her maiden name was POTTER.

Jimmy Page, did have an occult bookshop in Kensington, London, the reason he called it Equinox was due to books by A. Crowley having a number of periodicals named EQUINOX, indeed he even at one time owned one of his houses, called Boleskine House on the banks of Lock Ness, Scotland:-
en.wikipedia.org...
I also am fascinated by A. Crowley, however i have never liked him as a person, he treated women in an awful manner :-
en.wikipedia.org...
I love the Suffragettes, however a lot of them were also interested in the occult and mysticism, one of my heroines is Annie Besant, link below:-

J.K. Rowling could have been inspired by "The Wizard of Gordonstoun" in creating "Hogwarts":-

I was interested in Sirius Black, it is confirmed that he was born on 3 November 1959 by J.K. Rowling, was she giving us a clue by also using deliberate astrology by this?
www.hp-lexicon.org....
J.K. Rowling never confirmed where Sirius Black was born, we surmise it would be in Grimmauld Place in London, where the Black family used to live and where the Order of the Phoenix started, but isn't confirmed, it could just as easily been at Hogwarts....but where was Hogwarts?
We know that one of Sirius Blacks ancestors was Headmaster of Hogwarts being Phineas Nigellus Black:-
harrypotter.fandom.com...
Please scroll down link below to "Popular Culture", you find that Hogwarts was very near Dufftown, in Scotland:-
en.wikipedia.org...
The oldest astrology are called parans, time of birth isn't as important as alignment to actual day, so i put the date in my computer for midnight meaning 00:00 for 3rd November 1959, for location of Dufftown, and found Sirius rising in the East....Sirius Black with Sirius Rising on day of birth at location, perhaps Rowling is having a game with us, LOL.
Please right click on IMG below, you may have to click on "View Image", to view astronomy graph:-
