With the readers now

Just wanted to add an update to my last post, but I finally made it through the last of my main POVs and did a first-pass edit of the completed manuscript. I've sent it to some folks whose opinions I trust to get some real feedback. It feels strange to be "done," at least for now. I'm so tempted to keep tinkering and working on it around the edges, but I know that is foolish right now while I wait for the feedback. Looking forward to getting this to a point where all of you can read it too!

i have been there, that temptation, the feeling that there is more you can add, or take away. Some of it is that feeling that you just do not want to leave the world you have created.
I read that most authors go through this, and i read that SIr Terry Pratchet's assistant often had to STEAL the book away to the publishers because Pterry still wanted to tweak.
Well done for letting go

This is a huge milestone ,congratulations. The urge to tinker is so real, but letting it breathe while others read is smart.
