What type of jokes do you tend to laugh at?

Jokes that tend to get a laugh out of me are (good) witty one liners and (good) dad jokes. Occasionally a good anti joke will get a annoyed groan + laugh out of me.

Outside of that:

Self aware Jabs: Nothing tickles my funny bone more than video games/other media being self aware.
And I don't mean them being aware that it's a video game/other media.
I mean stuff like this.

The kind of bit that says 'yes, we know what we did, what are you gonna do about it?' lol

I always like ones that have unexpected punchlines. Things that I wasn't expecting, and the surprise of it always makes me laugh.

A man walks into a bar with a small piece of asphalt under his arm and says to the bartender, "I'll have a beer, and one for the road!"

Jokes are not my thing. And...I am not really drawn to things because they are funny.

My own sense of humor is dry, and focuses on the absurd. Which, If I was to display, would probably get me in trouble. So...

What do I tend to laugh at? I dont know. I thought Talladega Nights was pretty funny. But the last Naked Gun did not quite get there for me.

I pull one on family gatherings like so: write something on a piece of paper and I'll show you what's on it by writing it on my own paper. Then I have the scoffer place it under a thigh, upon which they demand to see what I've written. "Here's what's on your paper," I say as I hand it over. It says, "your hind quarters".

An old blonde joke that we used to laugh at at home.
Two Blondes Standing at opposite sides of a lake. One of them asks the other "How do I get to the other side" and the other one says "You ARE on the other side"

Probably one of the tamer blonde jokes honestly, I've absolutely heard meaner ones. This one's just two girls being unobservant and nothing to do with being blonde.

That was on Svengoolie. Being a family show, he had the person stand on the paper, so the answer was "your foot". As for the hind quarters thing, it's much funnier expressed with lingo I wouldn't use here. I guess no one in my crew has ever seen Svengoolie--gets them every time.
