Advance for a First Time Author?

My advance was more than that...but there was no bidding war. My only previous publishing was self.

From what I understand, though, you are a special case since you had already been successfully self-published.

From what I understand, though, you are a special case since you had already been successfully self-published.

There is absoulutely no doubt in my mind that my advance was higher than it would have been had I never self-published.
