I don't really get 'hyped' for a number of reasons but to see the sadly barren RTS genre and a franchise I was practically raised on and that helped encourage my love of history and mythology getting a new entry does warm this virtual general's bloodstained soul. Now here's hoping they craft a strong single player experience and don't spend all their resources chasing that multiplayer MOBA money like so many others have foolishly done... looking at you Tiberium Twilight.

Yooooo Age of Empires 2 was my jam! 3 was also great, and Age of Mythology is hands-down the game of my childhood. I honestly never thought they would make another, but I'm so happy to be proven wrong.
