Disappointing Sequels

Maester
TV series grate on my nerves after a couple of seasons.

I get disgusted as soon as they bring in the baby. Sooner or later, every TV series resorts to bringing in a baby, and from then on, (as in life) everything revolves around the baby. If you are not interested in babies, it's over.

This sentiment is one of the reasons I'm glad I wrote just six books and wrote them all before the first was published. I built my series for the sixth to be the "big bang" so that the series ends on a high note and have said all along I won't tack on another book or books to the end of it.

If fans really want more...I could do some prequels but I'm going to be very conscious of not overstaying my welcome.

...and the baby is super powerful and daddy dotes on her. -Dies a little inside- Books, films, TV, this plot is overdone. Kill it.
