I'm finally taking serious steps to write my first fantasy novel. I figured I could just dive in and write the darn thing from cover to cover. As you all know, it doesn't usually work like that. Now I'm actually planning, making story boards, and trying to make my fantasy world as realistic as it can be. I hope I can receive some invaluable advice on this forum, and eventually learn enough to help other aspiring authors. One thing that I have learned is that a good writing program helps keep things organized. The software that I have actually motivated me to put my nose back on the grindstone. I have found that just writing rarely works. I'm a big fan of planning and outlining. The writing goes so much easier then.
