Help Me Pick a Game to Finish/Replay

So I've come to a point in my game buying where I've decided, "I have enough games for the moment." Mostly because I want to save a bit more money and also because I have a lot of great games I just haven't finished. I'd say my two biggest reasons are probably getting newer games I rather play and just waxing and waning interest in focusing time on games.

But now I'm in a waxing period, so help me out.

What I'd like are recommendations for a game to either finish or replay. I'll post the ones I haven't finished and the ones that are eligible to replay below:

Unfinished games:

1. Dishonored (in the middle)
2. Fallout New Vegas (beginning)
3. Dark Souls (not sure?)
4. Dragon's Dogma (in the middle)
5. Witcher 2 (in the middle)
6. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (beginning)
7. Final Fantasy XIII-2 (in the middle)
8. Tales of Vesperia (beginning)
9. Tales of Symphonia (beginning)
10. Lost Odyssey (near the end)
11. Blue Dragon (beginning)
12. Borderlands 2 (beginning)

Finished games (eligible for replay):

1. Skyrim
2. Mass Effect (trilogy)
3. Dragon's Age 1 and 2
4. Fallout 3
5. X-Com: Enemy Unknown

I most recently finished X-Com, so I don't really want to replay that one right now, but any of the others are really fair game. Any recommendations are appreciated. Help me out!

I do like Dark Souls and would like to get back into it, but dang is it frustratingly hard. I don't even remember exactly why I quit playing it. It was shortly after one boss with all of the dogs hanging out with him (which I cursed at the top of my lungs many a night). Anyway, let's see if anyone else chimes in.

I only have the Wii, so I haven't played any of those.

But I saw a promo for Witcher 3 in Game Informer that made the game look awesome, so if I were getting that one, I would want to try and play Witcher 2 ahead of its release.

Otherwise, most of the time I'd rather replay a good game that struggle through a lousy one.

Dragon Age: Origins. Going back to this one about a year ago led me to a terrific time.

Fallout: New Vegas. It really is a wonderful game if you like the roleplaying experience. Not as tight a story as Fallout 3, which means you can (to an extent) tailor the story more to your character, (if like me you are a real story maker) what faction to side with, etc. Many weapon types, loads of skills and perks to really tailor your man/woman, hundreds of npc's to interact with, a system which lets you have different reputations with the different factions, a classic high-stakes narrative of greed and betrayal, topped off with a vintage collection of music from the 40s and 50s. Tempted?

@Aidan: I was having fun playing New Vegas when I started it out. But it seems like I was spending a lot of time walking back and forth to the same places and it sort of got on my nerves. I still want to finish it, so I'd be willing to give it another go.

@Sparkie: I actually started 6 or so different games on DA: Origins just so I could play all the varieties of origins. However, I started the mage origin and got hung up on it. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't play my dwarf reaver character in Dragon Age 2. Maybe Dragon 3 will blend the stories together somehow?

@Devor: Yes, what I played of Witcher 2 was awesome. I was really into it until I got to this boss that keeps killing me. Difficult bosses tend to make me quit games. But yeah, I may just find a walk-through and go for it again.

Of those mentioned so far I'm probably leaning most toward Witcher 2 since the discussion came up not long ago.

I assure you once I finish Dark Souls, I won't be re-playing it on a harder level. Stupid Capra Demon...

9. Tales of Symphonia (beginning)

Is that the Gamecube game? I had fun with that, but I mostly played it with 3 or 4 players. We finished the final boss with a 120-hit combo, and just had laughs about the way the camera ignored everyone who wasn't Player 1. I liked the ninja girl with the cards (and managed to complete her personal quest), but the dual sword guy was really a must for the party. I wish the costumes didn't hurt your character's level-up... or moreso, I wish I didn't care that dressing like a waitress meant less HP and just dressed what's-her-face like a waitress anyway. My intent was to max out the character levels, THEN dress them up. Of course, I only played through the game once, as usual.


EDIT - How is Dragon's Dogma, anyway? Did they keep that fighter move that lets him throw an ally (a pawn) onto a monster? I'm 99.44% sure they didn't include the pawn "Tusk H. Tuesday." Capcom was rather quiet about the contest, most likely because no one came up with serious names, and no one would get the inside jokes.

Sorry, maybe I'm getting the games mixed up. The game I have deals with Chopin and has lots of music kind of stuff in it. You're right, the game you mentioned is on Gamecube, but I haven't played that one.

And yes, you can throw people in Dragon's Dogma. Haven't played that one in a while though, so I'm not sure if they've added any new features or anything.

I'm playing Witcher 2 by the way now.

I second Dark Souls! If you can't deal with the stress then I'd recommend a Fallout 3 replay, I liked it even more than New Vegas.

Everyone says that boss was hard but I had no trouble with him! Probably just has to do with the nature of the characters. I've had my fair share of trouble with 'easy bosses'.

I can't imagine what possesses people to do multiple replays of this game. I'm less than halfway and I felt like I was already getting ulcers; I'm taking a break from the game myself for a bit. Its a lot to manage, but satisfying and addictive as well.

I've ordered Dark Souls - hoping it's as good (and hard) as everyone says.
It's not on the list but if you have time I highly recommend Final Fantasy IX on ps1 (my favorite game.)

I know you said you don't wanna buy anything right now, but I HEAVILY recommend Bioshock Infinite. I assume you enjoy story, since you know..the forum,and Bioshock has one of the interesting stories in a long while.

And Witcher 2 is an amazing game. Mass Effect 2 is not as fun as the first time, but still a great experience.

Just beat Witcher 2. May do a replay on it later. I started playing Dragon's Dogma again, so I may try to beat that one next.

I've heard great things about the new Bioshock. However, I can wait on that. I'm sure it's an awesome game, but it wasn't really on my radar until recently, so I can hopefully wait until it goes to Platinum Hits or something (which I'm sure it will).
