F. Scott Fitzgerald on What Makes Great Writing

Speaking of Fitzgerald, I'm currently reading Joseph Conrad's Nostromo, of which Fitzgerald said "I'd rather have written Nostromo than any other novel."


EDIT: As a point of trivia, James Cameron chose the name Nostromo for the spaceship in Alien, and in the sequel Aliens, the ship is the Sulaco, which is the name of the fictional town where the novel Nostromo is set.
