Hawaiian names

Does anyone have any hints or tips on the grammatical construction of Hawaiian names? I'm trying to use Hawaiian prefixes and suffixes to create my own names, but I don't want my words to sound inaccurate. Any help would be be appreciated.

you don't necessarily need to make your own names. there are thousands of names that you can find in a single google search, and i don't know a single name in hawaiian so your readers probably wont either. if you really want to make your own names you can combine two shorter names into one. thats all the advice i have.

One thing to keep in mind with Hawaiian, syllables are only one or two letters long. Ha-wa-ii. A-lo-ha. You can use that basic structure to create any name you really want.
