Or, at least I hope to be properly joining you all.

Hello and greetings~ My name is Hioni. (aka Hioni-neko, darkNekoXIII, and Konekoame)
I'm still learning about writing, I've gotten so used to writing to boring prompts and Anthropology articles that I've mostly forgotten my own writing style. I'm a huge fan of the Fantasy Genera; while I'm mostly a fan of the more Modern Faerie tales and fantasy, I love the classics as well.

I'm also a fan of Manga and Anime, though I can be a bit picky sometimes. I like plot, dark fantasy, and the occasional Giant Robot and Cat Girl. My favorite thing to do with anime that I know well? In Depth discussion! It weirds out some of the other fans when I tackle a Cosplayer in a Con and start ranting about Character Development and plot similarities... Each to their own I suppose~

Lets see... what else should I add...?
I love the Color Red.... Foxes are awesome.... Fluffy Cute animals doing cute things are cute.... I really have no Idea what else to say...!

WAIT!

Tic-Tack boxes are the shizz!!

^___^ Thank's for your patience ~ I'll stop rambling now!

Welcome! What kind of Manga do you read? I like some of it, but I'm not a very dedicated reader to a series.

Welcome to Mythic Scribes, Hioni!

I also like dissecting plots, but I often pull it out into horrifying extremes/chicken-and-egg dilemmas. One of my favorite discussion topics is how Pokemon revolves around sealing adorable animals into balls and forcing them to electrocute, burn, drown, and crush each other to near-death, all in a world obsessed with fighting. But I digress... [/awkward silence]

Hope you enjoy your time here. ^^

@Realm Wanderer: There's a story about hell I was once told, I should share it with you one day. :D I think you'll find it somewhat interesting if you really think actually living in a tourist state is lucky!

@Mythos: I'm actually a fan of Hellsing, the take on Dracula/Alucard was amazing~ I love original plots, Yukiru Sugisaki's art style was something I loved akin to worshiping before I opened up to other manga... I don't really have a specific kind that I like. For a while there I was big into Fantasy Romance, typical girl who loves fairy-tales that way.... (while simutaniously collecting Hellsing volumes which is one of the most gore filled that I've read... eheh...)To scratch the surface, I also Watched a bit of Bleach, read all of the Fruits Basket and Fullmetal Alchemist books, I adore CLAMP, and have the first two of Real About High School. @____@ I have a very wide range, but since I live in a small town, most of my reading comes from the Library. Whenever we drive the 30 minuet drive to the cities that actually have bookshops, I rape- I MEAN RAID... them. :D
What ones do you like?

@Falunel: You, are awesome. XD I ADORED Pokemon when I was little, I still have my talking Pikachu actually. I could go on an on about Pokemon and it's good and bad points. I know back when I was younger, Violence on cartoons was pretty much a normal thing, watching bugs bunny get chased around by a man who wants to kill him, and constantly setting up the Duck to get killed, or vice versa. Even Tom and Jerry, Tom wanted to actually EAT Jerry! And Jerry wasn't an Innocent little mouse either, that little crapper was slick! I suppose for us it was just a new style of violence~ When I was little, I saw nothing wrong with it! Now that I'm a bit older, it's scary what children let their kids watch... My parents were Gamers, so I was raised watching their Anime, and watching them play their games. They played mostly RPG games so it wasn't a big deal, but now-days there's a lot of violence pretty much EVERYWHERE... and sex... -____-
Team Rocket was a hoot though. James was a homosexual, I remember the Episode where he actually was running away from his Fiance and everything. It wasn't because he was in love with Jessy either.... Jessy, on the other hand, was... was... I dunno, she was Jessy! Flamboyant and bossy, and there's an episode where one of the Pokemon licked her stomach when they were swarmed with dozens of them and she whined that she'd finally gotten her belly button licked. I remember laughing so freaking hard about that because I thought it was funny, I didn't know what it was! Mom did, but she didn't really care as long as I wasn't trying to attack the trees with glitter anymore. Meowth's story was a love drama, the female meowth he likes was rich and snobby then was abandoned and still snobby so he did everything to please her, and then she still went off with another cat. Uhg, I could go on forever about Pokemon and it's Original storyline... 1st Generation pokemon~
I've seen some... what I think are untranslated versions of the original Manga, that may or may not have been put into the American books or show... It was a short panel I couldn't understand any of it, but I know the last shot had a Pikachu eating a meowth... I wondered if perhaps the Original Idea was for Pokemon to be presented to an older audience in the first place... It had all the violence and seedy characters... Methinks the Gaming industry jumped onto the idea before the writer and artist was done developing and asked them to keep it kid friendly so they could take over the world together.
GAH! I'm rambling again!!! Sorry!!

Hioni I assure you, you know not of of hell until having lived in England. For me, and nearly everyone else I've spoken to that lives here are desperate to leave. I'm sure if living in Florida is such a pain for you we could swap homes :) lol

@midnight Falling: :D I do like bleach and wolfs rain!~ I cosplay Yachiru and Nanao and I adore Tobe from Wolfs Rain.

@Mythos: Wow! I haven't heard Hoshin Engi mentioned in a while, It seemed a lot like Shamen King to me... I only read a few chapters of Hoshin in Shonen Jump scans.... so I'm not sure if they're remotely alike... XD
O__o I saw Reborn Advertised, is it any good? I've never actually gotten ahold of it to read.

Reborn is a fun read. The characters are interesting, and it is very comedic, but it also has the right amount of seriousness. Once it got to the Future Arc it started feeling kind of forced. They just finished a big battle, and they had to get into more trouble right away. I still haven't read too much into the Future Arc, though.

Cool~ I'll put it on my list to read then! I'm always looking for new manga to read! It's sad when a mangaka runs out of inspiration or ideas and they start forcing themselves.... That's one reason I'm a fan of Clamp... the team fuels each-other and I don't think I've read Anything of theirs that's come out forced or even flaky.
I'm Currently reading, and trying not to murder, Matantei Loki at the moment. Someone suggested it to me and I thought it was awesome, but it's getting hard to read it and not get mad at it.... >___> *shakes fist at self* It's a manga Hioni... NOT the old lore.... I'm a tad bit of a Norse history nut; tying in with my religion, ancestry and stuff. A reason I've not bothered watching the previews of that movie, Thor. I think it's come out by now... I probably shouldn't have started reading this either.... but it's gotten addicting and I want to know what'll happen to Loki...

That reminds me, I was browsing the fantasy area of our library this morning, poked through the novels to find the Manga Bible lodged between Vampire Knight and Demon Diaries.... It might have been manga, and I can see why they might have had issues with figuring out where to place such a book... I was curious and started poking around and there were some non-fiction books in the fantasy area about different things, mostly witchcraft and similar things, but religious books... Many religions some believe as nothing but a fantasy, and some peoples Fantasy is reality and religion to others... How on earth do you categorize something like that?
