Your Top 10 Favorite Shows Of All Time?

Hmm it’s fun to list things.

Mad Men
The Soprano’s
The Wire
Marvellous Mrs Maisel
The Office (US)
Poldark
Pride and Prejudice (BBC 1995)
Vikings
Downton Abbey
SATC

An eclectic mix I know.

It changes from time to time. but the core would be [and in no particular order]
The West Wing
Buffy the Vampire Slayer [If I can squeeze Angle in there as well]
M*A*S*H
Whatever happened to the Likely Land?
Firefly
Yes [Prime] Minister
The Newsroom
Sports Night
Pose

There would be others. Most of the Star Treks [aside from TOS [heresy I know!], Babylon 5, Dr Who and some of it's spin-off, Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, Quantum Leap, Twin Peaks, even the Law & Order franchise on the right day.
The eagle eyed may have spotted there are three Joss Whedon and three Aaron Sorkin shows.
I'm not saying he is a nice person, but I think Joss is the best ensemble director I've seen.
And Aaron the best dialogue writer there is.

Hmmm...I would have thought I would have already answered this one.....

Well, I stopped watching shows a while ago, so I may be missing some of the more recent ones, and I dont know if there is really 10 that I could limit myself to... but in now particular order...

1) Samurai Jack
2) Justice League animated (all three series's)
3) Battle Star Galactica (and Spin offs).
4) Terminator - Sarah Conner Chronicals (which was cancelled just when it got to the really good part :( )
5) X-Files

Starting to stuggle....
6) Little House
7) Columbo
8) Claymore (Anime-ish thing)
9) Farscape
10) Xena

Some others....

11) The Killing (wish there was more of this)
12) Futurama
13) the Tudors
14) The Borgia's (the other one, and not the one you find on netflix)
15) Magnum PI
16) Inuyasha

Small trivia on Magnum. That signature Ferari he drove, which at the time it was made, looked like the kind of car only a millionaire would have, actually cost $40,000 at that time.

Meh, that's enough.

Hi,

So it's over a decade since I last posted on this thread and things have changed a little. So here's my revisions:

Star Trek Next Generation (all the way to Enterprise, but then Disco killed it for me)
Wonderfalls
The Lost Room
Farscape
Fringe
Midsommer Murders
Babylon 5
Southpark
Deadloch (laughed myself silly watching this!)
Brokenwood (still the only kiwi show I watch - and it's awesome!)

And for an honourable mention - Taskmaster UK, NZ, Aus. It's up and down but when it's up it's hysterical.

Cheers, Greg
